The challenge
Ghana’s quality infrastructure, from standards and metrology to plant protection and veterinary science, required modern measurement and molecular-biology capability across its national laboratories.
What we delivered
Under the 2014 contract, Beautiful Creations supplied and installed three lots of equipment with user training, comprising a water-meter test bench for the Ghana Standards Authority’s industrial metrology department; soil-analysis and seed-testing equipment across plant-protection and food-research laboratories; and a molecular-biology suite, including PCR, electrophoresis, a DNA sequencer and a biosafety cabinet, for the Accra Veterinary Laboratory.
The outcome
The programme’s Provisional Acceptance Certificate for the three equipment lots was issued in June 2016, recording provisional acceptance of the delivered and installed equipment.
